TikTok Ads reporting and attribution in one view

TikTok Ads reporting in Grower shows TikTok's spend, conversions, CPA and ROAS in one channels leaderboard with the rest of your media. TikTok's conversions are de-duplicated into one unified count and credited with the attribution model you pick, so TikTok is compared with Snapchat, Meta and Google on the same numbers.

What do you get when you connect TikTok Ads to Grower?

  • A place on the channels leaderboard: TikTok ranked by ROAS, conversions, cost, CPA, impressions and CTR next to every other connected channel, plus a performance spotlight for the best channel, best CPA and highest spend.
  • De-duplicated conversions: the attribution engine merges conversions from every channel and app into one unified count, then credits each touchpoint with last click, first click, linear, time decay, position-based (40/20/40) or a custom model.
  • AI analysis: run a deep, conversion, budget, content or audience analysis on any TikTok campaign and get an AI summary with suggested actions to approve, dismiss or turn into a task.
  • Approved changes, pushed for you: the recommendation engine suggests weekly changes with the evidence behind them, labeled by risk. Approve one and Grower pushes it to the channel.
  • Budget tracking: budgets are compared against live TikTok spend alongside your other connected channels.
  • AskGrower: ask for a TikTok performance report in chat.

How does TikTok Ads reporting work?

TikTok's basic metrics guide defines the numbers you see in Ads Manager:

MetricTikTok's definition
CostTotal ad spend
ImpressionsNumber of times ads were shown
Clicks (destination)Number of clicks leading to a specified destination
ConversionsNumber of times an ad resulted in the selected optimization event
Cost per conversionAverage amount spent per conversion

Which conversions count depends on the attribution settings of each ad group. TikTok's ad group attribution guide lists click-through windows of 1, 7, 14 or 28 days and view-through windows of off, 1 or 7 days, and warns: "Attribution settings cannot be changed once the ad group has been published."

TikTok also credits engaged views. Its engaged view-through attribution "assigns credit to an ad when a user watches at least 6 seconds of the ad," or the full duration for shorter videos, with windows of off, 1, 7 or 28 days. When TikTok introduced flexible attribution windows in 2022, it said TikTok Pixel and Web Event API advertisers "will be defaulted to 7-day click and 1-day view."

How does the TikTok Events API de-duplicate events?

TikTok describes its Events API as "a reliable connection between TikTok and advertiser's marketing data," covering web, app and offline events. For websites, it says: "we recommend having an Events API integration with your existing Pixel integration."

Running both means the same purchase can arrive twice. TikTok's event deduplication rules:

  • "You must share Event ID (event_id) as a parameter through both Pixel and Events API to ensure deduplication takes place."
  • For overlap between the two: "We merge or deduplicate events shared by the Pixel and Events API with the identical event and event_id parameters arriving after 5 minutes and within a 48-hour window from the first event (if applicable)."
  • When duplicates are found, "we will record the first event received for measurement and reporting."

That keeps TikTok from counting one order twice. It does nothing about Snapchat or Meta claiming the same order.

Why don't TikTok's numbers match your other channels?

Each platform attributes conversions to its own ads, with its own click, view and engaged-view windows. A customer who watched a TikTok, opened a Snap Ad and clicked a Google ad before buying can appear in all three reports. Summing them overstates results and makes every channel look cheaper than it is.

Grower de-duplicates conversions from every channel and app into one unified count and applies one attribution model across all of them, so TikTok's CPA and ROAS are measured the same way as every other channel's. See marketing attribution models explained for how each model shares the credit.

TikTok Ads in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UK

DataReportal's Digital 2026 reports, using TikTok's own advertising resources, show TikTok's adult ad audience in late 2025:

MarketTikTok ad reach (18+)Growth, end 2024 to late 2025
Saudi Arabia38.6 million+5.81 million (+17.7%)
UAE12.5 million+1.79 million (+16.7%)
Qatar2.95 million+410 thousand (+16.1%)
UK26.8 million+2.96 million (+12.5%)

In the three Gulf markets these figures exceed the adult population: 154.3 percent of adults in Saudi Arabia, 134.6 percent in the UAE and 114.1 percent in Qatar. DataReportal republishes them "as is" and flags them as possibly implausible, so read them as directional. In the UK, TikTok ads reached 48.4 percent of adults. Frequently asked questions

What attribution window does TikTok use?

It depends on the ad group. TikTok offers click-through windows of 1, 7, 14 or 28 days, view-through windows of off, 1 or 7 days, and a separate engaged view-through window. Settings cannot be changed after the ad group is published. Grower keeps TikTok's own reporting intact and adds a de-duplicated, cross-channel count beside it.

Do I need the TikTok Events API if I already have the Pixel?

TikTok recommends adding an Events API integration to an existing Pixel for website tracking. If you run both, pass the same event_id through each, so TikTok can deduplicate matching events within its 48-hour window and keep the first event received for measurement and reporting.

Can Grower change my TikTok campaigns?

Only after you approve. The recommendation engine suggests changes every week with the evidence and a risk label. Approve a recommendation and Grower pushes it to the channel for you; dismiss and undo any time. Autopilot can handle low-risk changes, and AskGrower asks before it spends credits or touches anything live.
