Snapchat Ads reporting and attribution in one view

Connect Snapchat Ads to Grower and its spend and results sit in one channels leaderboard with every other channel you run. Conversions are de-duplicated into one count and credited with the attribution model you choose, so Snap is judged on the same numbers as Meta, TikTok and Google.

Snapchat Ads reporting in Grower puts Snap's spend, conversions, CPA and ROAS in the same channels leaderboard as every other channel you run. Snapchat conversions are de-duplicated into one unified count and credited with the attribution model you pick, so you can compare Snap with Meta, TikTok or Google on equal terms.

What do you get when you connect Snapchat Ads to Grower?

Once Snapchat Ads is connected, it shows up everywhere your other channels do:

  • Channels leaderboard: Snapchat ranked by ROAS, conversions, cost, CPA, impressions and CTR next to every other connected channel.
  • One conversion count: the attribution engine de-duplicates conversions from every channel and app into one unified count, then credits each touchpoint with the model you pick: last click, first click, linear, time decay, position-based (40/20/40) or custom weights.
  • AI analysis on any campaign: deep, conversion, budget, content or audience analysis, each with an AI summary and suggested actions you approve, dismiss or turn into a task.
  • Recommendations you approve: the recommendation engine suggests weekly changes with the evidence behind them, labeled by risk. Approve one and Grower pushes it to the channel for you.
  • Plan vs live spend: your budgets are compared against live spend from connected channels.
  • AskGrower: ask the AI agent for a Snapchat report in chat. It asks before it spends credits or touches anything live.

How does Snapchat Ads reporting work?

Snap credits conversions to its own ads using attribution windows, and its Ads API measurement documentation defines the core metrics:

MetricWhat Snap reports
ImpressionsImpression count
SwipesSwipe-up count
Engaged viewsTimes your video ad was viewed for five seconds or longer
PurchasesAttributed PURCHASE conversion events, plus their value

The windows decide which conversions count. Snap's documentation says: "By default, Snap's attribution windows are 28 days post-swipe, 2 day post-view for engaged views (5 seconds or longer) and 1 day post-view (views shorter than 5 seconds)." In the API, the swipe window can be set to 1, 7 or 28 days.

Timing matters too. Reporting by conversion time "will return conversions based on the time the user triggered the conversion event," while impression time uses "the time the ad impression took place." Two reports for the same week can differ for that reason alone.

How does the Snap Conversions API de-duplicate events?

Snap's Conversions API (CAPI) lets you pass web, app and offline conversion events "directly to Snap via a server-to-server integration for campaign optimization and measurement." If you also run the Snap Pixel, the same purchase can arrive twice. Snap's deduplication rules are specific:

  • The Pixel's client_dedup_id and CAPI's event_id must match. Snap says to "send the same value on both sides, with the same casing, whitespace, and characters."
  • That cross-channel pair has a 48-hour dedup window.
  • For PURCHASE events, transaction_id and order_id act as a fallback pair, with a window of "up to 30 days."
  • Each ID must belong to one conversion event, "not per session, per visit, or per user."

This stops Snap counting one purchase twice. It does not stop Snap, Meta and TikTok from each claiming the same order.

Why don't Snapchat's numbers match your other channels?

Every ad platform counts conversions with its own windows and only sees its own ads. A shopper who swipes a Snap Ad, watches a TikTok and then clicks a Google ad can be counted by all three, so the platforms' totals add up to more conversions than happened.

Grower de-duplicates conversions from every channel and app into one unified count, then applies one attribution model you choose across all of them, so Snapchat's share is measured the same way as everyone else's. Our guide to marketing attribution models explains how each model splits the credit.

Snapchat Ads in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UK

DataReportal's Digital 2026 reports, based on Snap's own advertising resources, put Snapchat's late-2025 ad reach at:

MarketSnapchat ad reachShare of population
Saudi Arabia25.3 million72.9%
UAE5.13 million44.9%
Qatar1.24 million39.5%
UK23.9 million34.3%

In Saudi Arabia, that equals 89.0 percent of adults aged 18 and above, and women make up 43.5 percent of Snapchat's adult ad audience. Qatar showed the fastest growth of the four, up 19.6 percent between the end of 2024 and late 2025. DataReportal stresses that platform ad reach figures don't necessarily match active user numbers, so treat them as planning inputs. Frequently asked questions

What is Snapchat's default attribution window?

Snap's Ads API documentation says its default attribution windows are 28 days after a swipe, 2 days after an engaged view of 5 seconds or longer, and 1 day after a shorter view. Grower does not change how Snap counts its own conversions. It shows them next to your other channels and de-duplicates them into one unified count.

Do I need the Snap Conversions API if I already use the Snap Pixel?

Snap describes CAPI as a server-to-server way to pass web, app and offline events for optimization and measurement, so it complements the Pixel rather than replacing it. If you run both, send the same unique ID as client_dedup_id in the Pixel and event_id in CAPI, so Snap treats them as one conversion within its 48-hour window.

Can Grower change my Snapchat campaigns?

Only when you say so. The recommendation engine suggests changes each week with the evidence and a risk label. Approve one and Grower pushes it to the channel for you, or dismiss it and undo any time. You can turn on autopilot for low-risk changes, and AskGrower asks before it touches anything live.
