Meta Ads reporting and attribution in one view

Connect Meta Ads to Grower and its spend, conversions, CPA and ROAS sit in one channels leaderboard with Google, TikTok, Snapchat and the rest. Conversions are de-duplicated into one unified count and credited with the attribution model you choose, so Meta is measured like every other channel.

Meta Ads reporting in Grower puts your Meta spend, conversions, CPA and ROAS in one channels leaderboard with Google, TikTok, Snapchat and every other connected channel. Meta's conversions are de-duplicated into one unified count and credited with the attribution model you choose, so you stop comparing each platform's self-reported results.

What do you get when you connect Meta Ads to Grower?

  • Channels leaderboard: Meta Ads ranked by ROAS, conversions, cost, CPA, impressions and CTR beside your other channels, with a performance spotlight for the best channel, most converting campaign, best CPA and highest spend.
  • One de-duplicated count: the attribution engine de-duplicates conversions from every channel and app into one unified count, then credits each touchpoint with the model you pick, from last click to position-based (40/20/40) or your own custom weights.
  • AI analysis: send any Meta campaign for deep, conversion, budget, content or audience analysis, with an AI summary and suggested actions you approve, dismiss or turn into a task.
  • Recommendations you control: the recommendation engine suggests weekly changes with evidence and a risk label. Approve one and Grower pushes it to the channel for you.
  • Budgets and planning: budgets are compared against live spend from connected channels, and buyer personas include ready-to-use targeting for each ad channel, such as Meta interests.
  • AskGrower: ask the AI agent for a Meta Ads report in chat.

How does Meta Ads reporting work?

Meta's Ads Insights reference defines the core numbers:

MetricMeta's definition
SpendThe estimated total amount of money you've spent on your campaign, ad set or ad during its schedule
ImpressionsThe number of times your ads were on screen
ReachThe number of Accounts Center accounts that saw your ads at least once (estimated)
CTRThe percentage of times Accounts Center accounts saw your ad and performed a click (all)
Purchase ROASThe total return on ad spend (ROAS) from purchases

Results depend on attribution. Meta's guide to attribution models and settings says you choose a model at the ad set level: standard, incremental or custom. With standard attribution, the supported settings for website and in-store conversions are:

  • Click-through: events within 1 day or 7 days after a link click on your ad.
  • View-through: events within 1 day after an impression of your ad.
  • Engage-through: events within 1 day after a non-link click. For video ads, that includes a play of 5 seconds, or 97% of a video shorter than 5 seconds.

In Meta's Insights API, the default attribution option means 7d_click plus 1d_view. Meta also warns that "Results cannot be compared in the Campaign Overview table across ad sets with different attribution models."

How does the Meta Conversions API de-duplicate events?

The Conversions API "is designed to create a connection between an advertiser's marketing data," including website, app, business messaging and offline events, and Meta systems. Meta's deduplication guide says: "For optimal ad performance, we recommend that advertisers implement the Conversions API alongside their Meta Pixel." Its rules:

  • "In corresponding events, a Meta Pixel's eventID must match the Conversion API's event_id."
  • "In corresponding events, a Meta Pixel's event must match the Conversion API's event_name."
  • Events "are only deduplicated if they are received within 48 hours of when we receive the first event."

That prevents Meta from counting one order twice. It does not stop Google or TikTok from claiming the same order.

Why don't Meta's numbers match your other channels?

Meta credits conversions to its ads using clicks, views and engagements within its windows. Google, TikTok and Snapchat do the same for theirs. When one customer touches several platforms before buying, each can report the sale, and the platform totals add up to more than you sold.

Grower de-duplicates conversions from every channel and app into one unified count, then applies the attribution model you pick across all channels, so Meta's CPA and ROAS sit on the same basis as everyone else's. Meta Ads in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UK

DataReportal's Digital 2026 reports, using Meta's advertising resources, show late-2025 ad reach as a share of each population:

MarketFacebookInstagram
UAE9.70 million (85.0%)8.05 million (70.5%)
Saudi Arabia17.7 million (50.8%)18.2 million (52.4%)
Qatar2.40 million (76.6%)1.70 million (54.3%)
UK38.8 million (55.6%)35.5 million (50.9%)

Facebook reaches far more of the UAE and Qatar than of Saudi Arabia, where Snapchat and TikTok report larger ad audiences. DataReportal notes that Meta has made meaningful revisions to its published audience data, so don't compare these figures with older reports.

How do you connect Meta Ads to Grower?

Your Grower specialist sets up the Meta Ads connection with you during onboarding, along with your other channels. Grower lists Instagram as its own connection next to Meta Ads; see all 17 connections. Prefer to see it first? In the demo, a specialist walks you through Grower with your channels, and we'll connect a channel and show the recommendations it produces.

Frequently asked questions

What is Meta's default attribution setting?

Meta's Ads Insights API documentation says its default attribution option means 7-day click and 1-day view. In Ads Manager, standard attribution supports 1-day or 7-day click-through, 1-day view-through and 1-day engage-through. Grower doesn't change Meta's own reporting. It adds a de-duplicated, cross-channel count beside it.

Do I need the Conversions API if I already have the Meta Pixel?

Meta recommends implementing the Conversions API alongside the Pixel for optimal ad performance. If you send the same event from both, give them a matching eventID and event_id and the same event name, so Meta deduplicates them within 48 hours of receiving the first one.

Can Grower change my Meta campaigns?

Only with your approval. The recommendation engine suggests changes every week with the evidence and a risk label. Approve one and Grower pushes it to the channel for you; dismiss and undo any time. Low-risk changes can run on autopilot, and AskGrower asks before it touches anything live.
