Google Ads reporting in Grower puts your Google Ads spend, conversions, CPA and ROAS in one channels leaderboard with Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok and every other connected channel. Google's conversions are de-duplicated into one unified count and credited with the attribution model you choose, so Google is measured on the same basis as everything else.

What do you get when you connect Google Ads to Grower?

  • Channels leaderboard: Google Ads ranked by ROAS, conversions, cost, CPA, impressions and CTR next to your other channels, with a performance spotlight for the best channel, most converting campaign, best CPA and highest spend.
  • One conversion count: the attribution engine de-duplicates conversions from every channel and app into one unified count, then credits each touchpoint with last click, first click, linear, time decay, position-based (40/20/40) or custom weights.
  • AI analysis: run a deep, conversion, budget, content or audience analysis on any Google Ads campaign, with an AI summary and suggested actions you approve, dismiss or turn into a task.
  • Recommendations you approve: the recommendation engine suggests weekly changes with evidence and a risk label. Approve one and Grower pushes it to the channel for you.
  • Planning: buyer personas include ready-to-use targeting for each ad channel, such as Google Search keywords, and budgets are compared against live spend.
  • AskGrower: ask for a Google Ads report in chat.

How does Google Ads reporting work?

Google's guide to understanding your conversion tracking data defines the main columns:

ColumnGoogle's definition
ConversionsConversions received across your primary conversion actions
All conversionsAll primary and secondary conversion actions
Cost / conv.Total cost divided by the Conversions column
Conv. value / costTotal conversion value divided by the total cost of all ad interactions

Two details explain many reporting surprises. First, "The primary conversion columns mentioned above are calculated based on the time of the click, not the time of the conversion." Second, Google's page on modeled conversions says: "In the 'Conversions' column, Google reports both modeled and observed conversions."

Counting matters too. With the "Every" setting, "Google Ads counts every conversion (per tracked conversion action) that happens after an ad interaction." With "One," "Google Ads counts only one conversion per ad click," which suits leads.

How do conversion windows and data-driven attribution work?

Google's conversion windows default to 30 days after a click (for Search and Display, from 1 day up to 30, 60 or 90 days depending on the conversion source), 3 days after an engaged view and 1 day after a view.

Within Google's own ads, data-driven attribution "gives credit for conversions based on how people engage with your various ads," and "Data-driven attribution is the default attribution model for most conversion actions." Google adds that all conversion actions are eligible, "regardless of conversion or interaction volume."

To strengthen the data itself, enhanced conversions is "a feature that can improve the accuracy of your conversion measurement." It "uses a secure one-way hashing algorithm called SHA256 on your first party customer data," such as email addresses.

Why don't Google Ads numbers match your other channels?

Data-driven attribution shares credit among Google's ads, not between Google and Meta, TikTok or LinkedIn. Each of those platforms credits its own ads too, with different windows and dates. One customer who clicked a Google ad and saw a Meta ad can be counted by both.

Grower de-duplicates conversions from every channel and app into one unified count and applies one model you choose across all of them. Marketing attribution models explained covers why GA4, Meta and Google Ads disagree.

Google Ads in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UK

Google Ads also runs video: "In Google Ads, you can create compelling video campaigns with a range of video ad formats," according to its video ad formats guide, on YouTube and video partner sites. DataReportal's Digital 2026 reports, using Google's advertising resources, put YouTube's late-2025 ad reach at:

MarketYouTube ad reachShare of population
Saudi Arabia27.5 million79.2%
UAE8.37 million73.3%
Qatar2.31 million73.8%
UK55.5 million79.7%

Grower lists YouTube as its own connection next to Google Ads. In the UK, Google's EU user consent policy applies to "the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland," and Google lists consent requirements among the reasons it models conversions. Our PDPL vs UK GDPR guide compares consent rules in Saudi Arabia and the UK.

Frequently asked questions

What attribution model does Google Ads use by default?

Google says data-driven attribution is the default model for most conversion actions, and every conversion action is eligible regardless of volume. It credits conversions based on how people engage with your Google ads. It does not share credit with other platforms, which is why Grower adds a de-duplicated, cross-channel count beside it.

What are Google Ads enhanced conversions?

Google describes enhanced conversions as a feature that can improve the accuracy of conversion measurement. It hashes first-party customer data, such as email addresses, with the SHA256 algorithm before sending it to Google. It improves Google's own count; comparing Google with other channels still needs one de-duplicated view.

Can Grower change my Google Ads campaigns?

Only with your approval. The recommendation engine suggests changes every week with the evidence and a risk label. Approve one and Grower pushes it to the channel for you; dismiss and undo any time. Low-risk changes can run on autopilot, and AskGrower asks before it spends credits or touches anything live.
